Suzuki FR80

My first bike, well actually my mums first bike after her Batavus VA, my blue Suzuki FR80 was a step through motorcycle, very similar to the Yamaha Mate and the Honda Super Cub, that was produced by Suzuki from the early 1970s to the early 1980s. It was a slug being powered by a small 80 cc (4.9 cu in), two-stroke, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine which incorporated a self-mixing system, so it had a separate two-stroke oil tank and petrol tank and was 6V so the lights were also very poor. It was started by a kick start mechanism – nothing like my later SP370 or VBR500 being easy on the foot.
